Two weeks in Kauai

We just got home from Paradise. The most stressful thing was getting up in the morning and deciding which beach to go to! We had a great time with the Ballerinos!

Silliness in Hawaii

Having fun in Hawaii

We love shaved ice!

We tried several shaved ice places- I think our favorite was the funny little truck in Hanalei, even though the lady was a bit CRAZY!

Hawaii

I could post a million photos- I took that many!

Playing in the snow

Our neighbors invited us to come over and play in the snow last Saturday. They have a big open field and were pulling kids on sleds behind snowmobiles. They had a bonfire in the snow. Dee took Carter for a ride on the snowmobile and Carter said they were going so fast he thought they were flying.

Cute things my kids said

Yesterday Woodrow was playing with a bulldozer that I bought him for his birthday. He said that it was broken because the batteries weren't working. I told him that it didn't have batteries, that you just push it and he was the battery. He said, "But Mom, I don't want to be a battery."

Nancy and Woodrow were sitting on my bed this morning watching Backyardigans and there were some Egyptian statues in the background. Woodrow asked me what they were. I told him they were mummies. He said, "Where are the daddies?" Then he and Nancy proceeded to have a discussion on where the daddies and the babies might be.

Nancy came in the kitchen today with a sad look on her face and said that her leg was hurting. I asked what she had done and she said "Nothing, but it feels like my leg is scared." I told her that sometimes our muscles twitch and that it would stop in a minute. Then she said, "Oh, I think my muscle is scared."

I LOVE MY KIDS!!!

Disneyland December 2007

We haven't been to Disneyland since Jimmy was a baby... it was time to go! We had such a great time. The ride was a bit long. About halfway there Woodrow said, "Mom, let's just go home!" I guess 12 hours in the car was a bit longer than he was expecting to get to Disneyland!

The parks weren't too crowded because we went before the Christmas rush. We loved the snow at night and all the decorations and were surprised at how much they decorated for Christmas.
