Living History Museum- Liberty Academy

Carter and Lincoln had a living history museum at school.  They studied the American Revolution.  All of the students were dressed as the characters they had done research papers on.  It was such a great event!  We truly love the school and feel so blessed to be a part of it!

I told the boys to pretend it was Halloween and they really liked their costumes...  this is what they did!

Brooke graduates from Smith College

Dee and I flew to Northampton, Mass for Brooke's graduation on May 16, 2010.  The weather was so beautiful, the campus was gorgeous and we had such a great time seeing Brooke and Dee's parents.  We ate lots of yummy food and really enjoyed all of the graduation events.  We are so proud of Brooke!!! She graduated with honors and looked so beautiful!

She has a great job in DC working for the same company that she interned for in China last year, Powell Tate.  She is the president's assistant and jr. account rep, a position previously only given to those with a master's degree.  They were so impressed with her work last summer that they hired her!  She is living in Pentagon City, across the street from where we lived when she was little.  We are anxious to go visit soon!

LOVE YOU BROOKE!!!!

17th Wedding Anniversary and Temple Square

Dee and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary on December 19th. We spent the night in SLC at the Little America. We ate dinner at the Steakhouse in the hotel, took TRAX down to see the lights, slept late the next morning and had lunch at Cheescake Factory.

Me with Barbara and Mary Malcarny. They were in Pageant with us our first year. SO fun to see them again! All grown up now with our own kids!
Pageant scenes...

With the Ahern Family. They were friends 15 years ago when we were in Pageant. We lost touch and were SO happy to find them again.

Some other cast members

We got permission to go into the study shelter and find my parents. They were eating dinner and had NO IDEA we were coming. They were SO surprised!!! The kids just walked over and stood in front of them until they looked up from their food, and they both about fell over! Mom cried, of course. They were so happy that we came!

At the door of the Kirtland Temple. We were with a youth tour group and we all sang "The Spirit of God" together while we were in the temple chapel, and I played the piano. Neat experience!
